Delphi Component Help Builder is a specialized help authoring tool that builds help files for Delphi components based on its source code. It imports data from .dpk or .pas files, extract object, function or procedure declarations, even comments and parses it. Help project structure displayed as tree view. User interface is friendly and it mimics real help file when it’s executed. Clicking hot links causes jumping onto the correct topic. Wizard pops up on a new project is creating. Needs to add a text into description area and build a help file. Comments found in the source code during parsing can be used as topic text description. The help file looks like help files supplied by Borland. It includes table of contents, major and list topics, hierarchy pop up topics related each other. Interim .rtf and .hpj files can be created in the registered version. During generation help file adds inherited VCL50 class member hot links into list topics if selected. Font and color used in topics are customizable. Tested with big component projects, up to 2000 topics. Help and Quick Start tutorial are available.
